To show our support of the National City Police Department’s (NCPD) anti-bullying campaign, Jurewitz Law Group Injury & Accident Lawyers donated $1,250 that will enable the NCPD to hand out 500 magnetic memo boards for free that will enhance Emergency Safety Awareness in our community. The boards are magnetized so they can easily be attached to a refrigerator or other steel surface that can be displayed as a constant reminder. On the front of each board, there are designated spaces to write local emergency numbers. On the back side, there are tidbits on how to deal with bullying.
While the NCPD will begin passing the boards out to the general public, police officers will also be visiting 4th graders in the National City school district this upcoming fall to discuss how to deal with bullying and to pass out memo boards as well. Since it was reported that one out of every four students are bullied during the school year by the National Center for Educational Statistics, we applaud the efforts the NCPD is taking to stop bullying and provide education to children in our community. The legal team at the Jurewitz Law Group Injury & Accident Lawyers is proud to support positive community change throughout the San Diego area and would be proud to represent you and your family in any personal injury needs you may have.
