Spring is here, and prospective college students in California and around the country are visiting campuses, studying brochures, and anxiously digging through the day’s mail for the coveted acceptance letter. In essence, they are poised to engage in one of life’s most important journeys—getting an education that will ultimately lead to a fulfilling future.
The legal team at San Diego’s Jurewitz Law Group Injury & Accident Lawyers strongly believes in education, because we’ve seen the fruits it has borne in us as well as others. So, with this in mind, for the second year in a row, we are launching the Take Charge of Tomorrow Scholarship: two aspiring scholars (one in California and one out of state) will be endowed with $1,000 each to pursue their secondary education. If you qualify, all you have to do is fill out the application, submit your transcripts, verify your enrollment, show a copy of a photo ID, and write an essay of 500 to 1,000 words.
Jurewitz Law Group Injury & Accident Lawyers’s mission is to stand up for the rights of the injured and see that they are made whole again after an unfortunate event. On a daily basis, we demand that insurance companies do their duty and fairly compensate injury victims and their families. With this is mind, tell us about a time when you stood up for what was right, in spite of strong opposition, and with the odds stacked against you. What made you take a stand? Did you achieve the outcome you wanted? What did you learn from the experience? If confronted with the same or similar situation, would you take a stand again?
